The development of the whole person doesn’t simply happen in the classroom but in our wide range of clubs throughout the week.
Staff and volunteers offer activities from carpentry to cooking, stamp collecting to Science Club, orchestra to origami and a host of other offerings which develop children cognitively, emotionally and physically. A particular strength of Emmanuel is our chess club which competes competitively in the Oxfordshire league.
Our location in Oxford gives us access to a range of learning experiences through the museums, Oxford Castle and many different creative festivals. Further afield we have enjoyed trips to Bletchley Park and the River and Rowing Museum in Henley. Our location in Oxford gives us access to many interesting people who visit regularly to share their passions in different areas. Each week in Friday Afternoon Fun we expose children to rich ideas in ways which are accessible but also invite them to explore new avenues of understanding.
