Emmanuel Christian School was begun as an enterprise of faith. This faith-based approach however does not absolve the School from its responsibilities to: Provide the best possible education for the children committed to its care. Provide the opportunity for children from all sections of the community to receive Christian education irrespective of their family's income. Act as a just employer in providing fair levels of remuneration for staff. As a non-profit making organisation the School welcomes donations in support of its work. The School is a registered charity and as such is able to recover tax on donations made through the Gift Aid scheme. Further details are available from the Association Treasurer. Fees for the 2007-2008 academic year Fees are due in advance and may be paid annually, termly, half-termly, or monthly. For the Nursery weekly payment is also possible. Nursery – Fees for the Nursery are charged at a basic rate of £10 per morning session and £8.25 per afternoon session. Parents of most nursery age children are likely to be eligible for some reduction of this charge due to Government funding. Infants and Juniors - The basic fee per child is £1,240 per term. (£3,720 per year) Bursary Scheme The School's object of providing wide access to Christian education is assisted by the operation of a means-tested Bursary Scheme. Parents who wish to apply for a bursary will need to submit a "Statement of Financial Circumstances" together with their application for a place.
