Policy for Sex Education

It is our view that sex education should be given from the earliest age, beginning even during pre-school years in an informal unstructured way. We see it as very important that children have heard what is right, true, good and God ordained from the adults in their lives, before they hear things differently from friends, television or other sources and long before it is an emotive issue for them. Although sex education is not taught in a structured way to pupils in the Infant and Junior classes, questions are answered truthfully and clearly (using correct terms) and opportunities taken as they arise to create awe and wonder at God's ways and respect for His rules governing our bodies and sexuality. Sexual matters are always discussed in the context of marriage and family life.
