Why A Christian School?

Many of our young people behave well, know Bible stories, and are kind and hard-working BUT many of them – think peers are more important than parents think that the media are more relevant than the Bible think more of youth culture than Christian distinctiveness think more of self-fulfilment than of self-denial think that service is a mug's game think celebrities are better role models than biblical heroes think image is more important than beliefs think that tolerance is more important than conviction think that money is a necessity for a good life. And they reap the fruit of their thinking in their lives. British society leads within Europe in terms of incidence of drug abuse, alcoholism, family breakdown, divorce, teenage pregnancy, personal debt, offending and suicide. Christian Education is a vital strategy for changing a society that has turned its back on God – and for preparing our Christian young people to think differently and to become leading lights in bringing about that change.
